Albany airport expansion may require moving the dead

Should the sale of the Albany County Hockey Facility to the county Airport authority move forward, the authority will have the dead to deal with.In the early 1990s, expansion of the airport came under scrutiny with concern of disturbing the resting place of hundreds of indigents buried at the expense of the county between 1926 and 1946 in an unmarked cemetery in Colonie.The expansion at the time didn't affect the burial grounds, however, this time around might cause unrest....
