California's fires already burned almost 120,000 acres. They're about to get much more dangerous.

Winds up to 80 mph are expected in the region Thursday, making fire containment nearly impossible. The blazes had already incinerated almost 120,000 acres as of Thursday morning, leaving behind scorched hillsides and smoke-shrouded highways in the state’s worst fire season ever.
